G-700

Wood Dust Processor

A Revolutionary Dust Processor

Because of the principal contradiction between dusty air flow and filtration, traditional dust collectors are struggling with filter clogging or bad air quality. Most of the dust collectors are very loud, bulky and difficult to maintain. This has been a long-standing pain for woodworkers.

To solve this problem, the Harvey team of engineers spent

over 7 years of research and study, to develop an unprecedented Dust Collector, the Gyro Air® G-700 Wood Dust Processor. The G-700 Gyro Air® Wood Dust Processor incorporates a unique, patented technology to separate dust particles from the air and capture them before they enter the filters. The G-700 uses the new Axial Centrifugation Technology (called Gyro Air® Technology), to spin the air/dust stream up to 4,000 RPM and generate a super strong centrifugal force (over 100 times gravity) to separate the dust from the air and collect it in two dust bins hidden internally in the unit.

The G-700 collects 99.7% of the dust particles before the air reaches its HEPA filters. This not only means much less cleaning of the filters, but that the airflow and static pressure will remain much more constant during operation. In addition, the air emission cleanliness level from the filters can reach an unbeatable 0.05 mg/cubic meter (50% better than the European Standard of 0.1 mg/cubic meter). The entire extraction system is aerodynamically optimized with extraordinary running efficiency, so it can save up to 50% in energy costs.

The Gyro Air® technology and its unique aerodynamic design allow the G-700 Gyro Air® to run at an incredibly low noise level of 61 to 72 dBA, depending on which speed you run the Gyro Air ... yes, it is a variable-speed machine that allows you to adjust the airflow to suit your needs. The G-700 is powered and controlled by a SIEMENS industrial 2HP motor and SIEMENS V20 Variable Frequency Driver for 24/7 applications. In addition, the Gyro Air® G-700 is equipped with a built-in Dust-Bin monitor and a Remote Control Key. Its fully enclosed housing is short enough to fit under most benches, and it has heavy-duty casters to allow it to move as needed. The two dust bins are sealed when in use but are then easily accessed through a panel on the side of the unit, and they roll out for easy emptying (and you can use disposal bags to take out wood chips).

Just got this beast…

…and have only used it a few times, but it crushes the Jet 1500 collector it displaced.

Excellent build quality

Just plugged my G700 in and ran some wood through the planer and jointer to see how it handles big chips and I was delighted with everything about this tool; it's quiet, powerful and extremely well built. Love the VFD, love the latch and rails that let the dust bins roll out. So sturdy and cleanly designed! Thank you!

unpacked and hooked up. Nice.

Have not had a chance to fully use it yet, but upon unpacking and hooking up it seems very quiet even on high.. the wife didnt even relize it was running when I was running it on low hooked up to my cnc router, seems like a quality unit so far. Good job Harvey and thanks for something different. I will be looking at other equipment as I set up my retirement shop or as my wife calls it the naxt chapter. I own a comercial millwork shop and plan to retire soon and build furniture and all the things I never had time for while running a business. Im buying all new equipment and im looking foward to adding Harvey equipment to my line up. Also , Thanks for showing up at the IWF this year. The IWF used to be a great show for wood workers getting started in the business or wood workers that accually wanted to do wood work. Its sad to see it turn into a tech show, So I and a lot of other wood workers were glad to see a couple of wood working machine companys show up amongst all of the big cnc manufacturing companys. this was my last IWF but look foward to going to some of the smaller wood working shows. Hope to see you there.

Product was perfect. Packed well and not a scratch. Machine was easy to set up and it's attached to my Harvey table saw with no issues! It's far quieter than I expected and it has done very well in my shop so far! I would absolutely recommend for anyone with a small shop.

This is my first dust extractor so I don’t have anything to really compare it to. I will say though it is much quieter than I assumed it would be and the airflow when hooked to my table saw or router station allows me to keep a very clean work area.

Dust Collection That Works!

I bought the G700 to upgrade from one of those cyclone and bag filter units. The difference in dust in my shop was apparent instantly. I was able to uncrate and set up the machine completely by myself. I just turned 70. It fits very nicely in my one car garage shop and allows me to reclaim some vertical space above it for an assembly/outfield table that I will soon build. Buy it again in an instant!

This thing quietly sucks!

At the lowest setting, this thing is super quiet. You really don't need hearing protection at its lowest setting. Highest it gets a bit louder and is more comfortable with hearing protection. Of course, once you turn on one of your loud machines, you'll want hearing protection anyway. Love that it is not a tower DC and more bench-like. Can still build shelves or cabinets above it. So far, this thing rocks!
